IELTS Preparation Course - Intermediate (or above)

30 Hour Course beginning Tuesday 17th Nov until the 18th Dec 2009.

Taught only by experienced IELTS teachers.

Focus	Course Syllabus
Reading	You will look at question types and receive training in skimming & scanning and reading for detail. Exam practice & feedback
Speaking	You will look at exam criteria (according to public bands), and work on your accuracy, fluency and pronunciation. Exam practice and feedback
Writing	Task 2 You will look at different types of task 2 questions and ways of organising your response. Learn IELTS criteria, (according to public bands) Concentrate on key areas to help improve your writing mark.
Writing	Task 1 You will study how to describe line graphs / bar charts / pie charts / tables as well as processes and cycles. Exam practice and feedback.
Listening	You will look at question types and receive training on key listening skills. Exam practice and feedback
Vocabulary	You will look at language for describing graphs and IELTS issues (globalisation / tourism / education / technology).
Grammar	Mixed tense review Language of comparison The passive voice
